Savuti Project

Introduction

Ramotoho Trading And Consulting is currently working on this project since September with tasks to plan, design and construct concrete foundations for Savuti Projects in Benoni, Petit.

Purpose

The project is mainly for a new factory with Savuti Projects as our contracting client.

The aim of the project was to provide an up to date, safe to the public concrete foundations to bear the factory building and improve the general appearance of the site for the benefit of the employees and clients..

What did we do?

For a successful project, there are critical steps to follow:

1. Survey the land and take ground levels (for levelling later in the project).
2. Plan and start with a graphical design of the foundation project.
3. Estimate the amount of concrete, reinforcement mesh, mesh spacers and steel reinforcement bars to increase the strength of concrete.
4. We then started with the groundwork preparation.
5. Followed thereafter we laid the concrete (poured as people might say).
6. We carried out a bit of concrete levelling in some areas.
7. Thereafter we floated the concrete to give it a smooth finish.
8. Suspension joints were cut to alleviate any cracks in the concrete, increasing durability.
